FifthWall Solutions, the financial risk intelligence platform reshaping the future of cyber insurance, today announced the appointment of Scott Kincaid as Chief Financial Officer. A capital strategist with over $1 billion in deployed investment experience, Kincaid brings a rare blend of Wall Street precision, SaaS scale, and venture-backed operational excellence.
Kincaid has built his career scaling high-growth, category-defining companies. At Zingtree, he led a $15 million Series A and secured $10 million in venture debt while rebuilding the financial backbone — GAAP compliance, revenue recognition, enterprise billing. At Facebook’s blockchain division, he helped raise $100 million for Diem and Novi, structured global entities under Swiss FINMA regulation, and guided investor communications at the board and public level.
He officially joined FifthWall on April 15 and will be based in Denver, partnering closely with CEO Cole Knuth and President Reid Wellock to lead investor strategy, revenue architecture, and cross-functional financial operations across the business.
“Scott is not just a CFO, he’s a valuation architect,” said Cole Knuth, CEO of FifthWall Solutions. “He understands what it takes to build institutional trust and execute at scale. His arrival signals our intent to lead this category with discipline, velocity, and investor-grade precision.”
Kincaid steps in as FifthWall accelerates its go-to-market motion, deepens distributor engagement, and prepares to introduce the Ukon platform to the broader market. His financial leadership will be central to how the company aligns its growth engine with long-term capital strategy and market positioning.

Reid Wellock, President and COO of FifthWall, added, “Scott knows how to turn strategy into performance. His background in structured credit, SaaS operations, and high-growth startups gives him the insight needed to help build a strong financial foundation for a fast-moving, disruptive company.”
Earlier in his career, Kincaid managed over $1 billion in structured credit strategies at Davidson Kempner, a $37 billion hedge fund. He led leveraged buyouts at J.P. Morgan and structured PE-backed growth financings at GE Capital’s Antares platform. As Managing Director of the Oxford Seed Fund, he directed investment strategy for Europe’s largest student-led venture fund. Kincaid holds an MBA from the University of Oxford and a BA in Economics from Johns Hopkins.
“FifthWall is translating cyber risk into financial clarity. That is the future,” said Scott Kincaid, CFO of FifthWall Solutions. “This team is solving a market failure with intelligence and urgency. I’m here to build the capital engine that drives it to scale.”
Kincaid’s appointment is the latest in a series of strategic moves following FifthWall’s seed-stage institutional capital raise. Since that round, the company has introduced a new leadership team, released its Cyber Risk Reports (CRRs), and laid the groundwork for the public launch of the UKON platform. These moves reflect a company not just scaling, but reshaping how cyber risk is quantified, priced, and insured.
